Kings Of Leon are not splitting up, according to the band’s mother.
Betty Ann Murphy – who is the mum to Caleb, Jared and Nathan Followill and aunt of Matthew – said the band will return “better than ever”.
“It’s not the end of the band,” Murphy told Star magazine.
“Sometimes they all drink more than they should - they’re young men and go on a binge. None of them need rehab.”
Earlier this summer, the group axed their US tour so Caleb Followill could recover from a voice problem and exhaustion.
But there were reports that the singer’s problems were more complex after he walked off stage at a gig in Texas with fans claiming he appeared to drunk to perform.
Kings Of Leon are due to return to the road in Canada at the end of September.
