Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusicante has claimed he is being stalked.
In a filed request for a protective order, Frusciante said 32-year-old August Elizabeth Thomas approached him last year to pitch an idea about writing a story based on his life.
He claims that despite declining her offer, Thomas has continued to seek his approval and recently visited his home twice in two days.
According to TMZ, Frusicante, who is married to musician Nicole Turley, said he was concerned that Thomas was “unstable" and "could snap at any moment”.
Frusicante quit Red Hot Chili Peppers last year. The band have since found a replacement and release their new album this month.
