Odd Future have cancelled their appearance at this month’s Leeds Festival.
In a statement, the hip-hop collective said they could no longer performance on August 28 because the festival clashed with the MTV Video Music Awards.
Odd Future’s unofficial leader Tyler, The Creator is nominated for two gongs: New Artists Of The Year and Video Of The Year.
They apolosied to fans, but said Tyler’s nomination had been a “lifelong dream”.
“This is an extremely unique situation for a group who are devoted to their fans,” they added.
Odd Future will still perform at the Reading Festival on August 27.
Reading and Leeds take place over the weekend of August 26-28 and feature headline performances from The Strokes, Muse and My Chemical Romance.
