Beyonce 'Best Thing I Never Had' Original Version Appears Online - Listen

The original version of Beyonce's latest single 'Best Thing I Never Had' has appeared online.

Producer Patrick Smith unveiled the original mix of the track on his official site last week.

Speaking about the version he wrote in his blog: ''I'm both thrilled & grateful that #TeamBey decided to make our song the single and it sounds awesome … But, this is what the song sounded like when we wrote it (sic),"

"I like this version … Mostly because it's not a ballad."

He added: "Both versions are SUPER JAMMING and set the mood in 2 completely different ways!!! I'm just feeling kinda tempo'd lately! Can you blame me though???? I got a single on BEYONCE!!!!! LoL."

'Best Thing I Never Had' is the second single to be released from Beyonce's new album '4'.

As previously reported, Beyonce's new album also includes production from the likes of Odd Future's Frank Ocean and Sia
