 
 Split Festival has announced further line up additions to the weekender that will take place at Ashbrooke Sports Club, Sunderland from September 17-18, 2011.
The festival, curated by The Futureheads' Ross Millard, has confirmed that Beth Orton, Withered Hand, Kurran & The Wolfnotes, Paul Mullen, The Lake Poets, The Union Choir, Nev Clay and more shall be playing The Fringe Stage on the Saturday and Sunday nights.
The festival, now in its third year, has already announced that this year's headline performances will come from The Drums, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Mystery Jets, The Rifles, The Charlatans and The King Blues.
Beth Jeans Houghton, Little Comets, Hyde & Beast, Dinosaur Pile Up, Dutch Uncles, Ganglians and Vinyl Jacket are also confirmed to play over the course of the weekend.
