Frank Carter has quit Gallows and announced plans to form a new band.
The singer will continue to perform with Gallows until August. His last UK date with the band will be in London on July 23.
In a statement, Carter said he was quitting the band with a “heavy heart”, but cited musical differences for his reason for leaving.
“It seems that Gallows have hit a crossroads in our writing process and unfortunately myself and the rest of the boys have different ideas regarding the sound of Gallows going forward,” he said.
"Gallows have decided they are going to continue on without me and I wish the boys the best of luck for the future.”
Carter has already formed a new band called Pure Love. The group will enter the studio shortly to begin work on their debut album before touring in the autumn.
