Madonna could be set to team up with Meat Loaf producer Jim Steinman on her new album.
The singer, who is due to start recording the follow-up to 2008's 'Hard Candy' next month, is said to be working with Steinman.
Steinman has previously worked with Meat Loaf on on the 'Bat Out Of Hell' trilogy and has also written tracks for Bonnie Tyler and Celine Dion.
Pat Buchanan from the Chicago Examiner has revealed that Madonna and Steinman are in 'big talks' to work together on the album.
''Apparently, Madonna wrote some songs with melody ideas and sent them to Mr Steinman, who was very impressed. Madonna, despite what some say, does write her own lyrics and melodies, but relies on producers to come up with the music.''
Meanwhile, Madonna has recorded a duet with her daughter Lourdes.
