The iconic red jacket Michael Jackson wore in the video for his hit 'Thriller' is to go up for auction.
The item is the star lot at a two day Music Icons auction due to take place at Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles later this month.
Jackson's 'Thriller' jacket, which has been given an estimate of $200,000-$400,000, was given to his longtime costume designers Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush.
It is inscribed on the inside lining “To Bush and Dennis, All My Love, Michael Jackson”. The sleeve is also signed “Love Michael Jackson”.
The auction, on June 25 and 26, will also include items related to The Beatles, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Kurt Cobain, Madonna and Lady Gaga.
