Music producer Martin Rushent has died at the age of 63, it's been announced.
Rushent, who worked with the likes of The Human League, the Stragnlers, Buzzcocks and XTC, passed away on Saturday (June 4).
The producer’s son, James – a member of Does It offend You, Yeah? - announced his father's death on Facebook and Twitter.
"I will miss him, so so much, he was my best mate," he said.
A tribute page on Facebook, Martin Rusent Memories, has been flooded with comments and tributes.
On commenter, Paul Cadd, said: "Although I never met him he was such an inspirational producer in my musical cutting of teeth as a Glam Rocker to punk fan in the 70's."
