Lady Gaga has revealed that Beyonce inspired her to become a singer.
Gaga, who collaborated with Beyonce on her single 'Telephone', said that she wanted to be a star after seeing Beyonce in Destiny's Child.
''You know, I've never told Beyoncé this, but I remember laying on my grandmother's couch crying, and a Destiny's Child video came on. I remember watching Beyoncé thinking, 'Oh, she's a star. I want that. I want to be on MTV.' And now I'm in music videos with Beyoncé," Gaga told MTV.
Lady Gaga and Beyonce were among a number of artists who performed on the American Idol final earlier this week (May 26).
Meanwhile, Courtney Love has described Lady Gaga as a 'weird sexless Barbie Doll'.
