Lady Gaga has thanked her fans for “making this week so memorable” after the release of her video for new single 'You And I'.
It was also announced this week that the singer is set to open this month's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles.
Lady Gaga, who is nominated for four awards at the VMAs, broke the news to fans in a gridlocked Times Square in New York on Thursday (August 18).
Lady Gaga joins the previously announced VMAs performers Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Young The Giant.
In a message on Twitter today (August 19), she said: “Thank you little monsters for making this week so memorable. If you haven't seen my new video "YOU AND I" watch here.”
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga went to the Roseland Ballroom to watch Beyonce play the third of four nights at the venue last night.
