Beyonce performed her new single 'Run The World (Girls)' live for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last night (May 23).
The singer put on an eye-catching performance, which used synced video screen technology and featured over one hundred backing dancers.
Beyonce was presented with the Millennium Artist Award following her appearance on stage.

'Run The World (Girls)' is the first single to be taken from the singer's forthcoming fourth studio album, entitled '4'. The album is the follow-up to Beyonce's 2008 album 'I Am...Sasha Fierce'.
Other winners at the Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Arena included Eminem, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.
