Kanye West Hits Elton John Party In $1.8m Concept Car

Kanye West attended a party hosted by Elton John in Cannes on Thursday (May 19) in a concept car worth $1.8million.

The rapper drove to the event in a 75 Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss sport car and was accompanied by a male friend.

The car is one of only a handful in existence and can reach a top speed of 217mph.

West was one of a host of big names who attended the annual amfAR dinner and auction, which took place at the Hotel du Cap in the Cap d'Antibes.

This year's event was dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor, who died in March this year.

West has been in Cannes for the much of the past week after playing a private gig last weekend.
