The lyric sheet for The Beatles 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' has been sold at auction.
Written by John Lennon, the lyrics were sold for £145,700 at an auction house in Los Angeles.
The songsheet features the opening lyrics to the song as well as a sketch of four people in a room draped in curtains.
The song has always been linked to the hallucinogenic drug LSD and was taken from the band's critically-acclaimed 1967 album, 'Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
