Prince has denied claims that he has banned Whitney Houston from his future shows.
The news comes after it was announced on Tuesday (May 10) that Houston had checked herself into an out-patient rehab programme for drug and alcohol treatment.
The same day reports emerged that Prince had banned the singer from attending any of 'Purple Rain' shows.
A statement from Prince released today (May 13) said: ''Whitney Houston is always welcome at Prince shows 4 all of eternity. Seeing her at 2 shows at The Forum in L.A. was a treat, especially when she sang with Chaka Khan and danced with Prince during his set. We love her always (sic)."
Houston made her anticipated comeback to music in 2010 with a new album and number of live dates but was hit with negative reviews.
She has previously entered rehab in 2004 and 2005.
