A painting by former Pink Floyd star Syd Barrett has been stolen from a London art gallery – and then returned by post.
The self-portrait was taken from the Idea Generation Gallery on Saturday afternoon (April 9).
His former girlfriend Libby Gausden launched an appeal for the painting's safe return and said it was of “huge personal value”.
But the image has now been returned undamaged and intact to the gallery by post, according to thewire.co.uk.
The self-portrait was painted before Barrett found fame with Pink Floyd and forms part of an exhibition at the gallery called, Syd Barrett: Art and Letters.
