Former Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri has revealed that Josh Homme turned down his request to re-join the band.
Oliveri, who left the band in 2004, said he approached Homme at a recent benefit and asked if he could perform with the band.
''I saw them (Queens Of The Stone Age) play in LA, I was down there and I mentioned to them, 'Why don't I come up and do 'Millionaire' or something, and sing it and not play bass?' He (Homme) was like, 'Nah, I don't think that's a good idea yet'," Oliveri told UGO.com.
The bassist is currently on tour with the newly re-formed Kyuss.
Meanwhile, Queens Of The Stone Age have announced details of a UK and Ireland tour in May.
