Slipknot’s Corey Taylor has sparked speculation that he is set to be unveiled as the new frontman of Velvet Revolver.
The band have been without a singer since Scott Weiland quit the group in 2008.
When asked about the vacancy in an interview with Billboard, Taylor replied: “To be continued.”
In December, Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum said the group had found a new frontman, but refused to unveil the person's identity.
"We can't make the announcement yet because we're 'dating', you know,” he said.
Weiland left Velvet Revolver to rejoin former band Stone Temple Pilots.
