The Killers and Kanye West will headline the inaugural Chile edition of the Lollapalooza festival, it’s been announced.
The two-day event will take place at O’Higgins Park in Santiago on April 2-3.
Other acts confirmed to appear include 30 Seconds To Mars, Fatboy Slim, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Cold War Kids and The National.
Jane’s Addiction, the band fronted by Lollapalooza organisers Perry Ferell, will also appear.
"The job we did to gather these artists for 2011 was remarkable," Farrell said.
"Imagine gathering 60 artists while the contract ink is still wet. We put it together at a record pace as we had four months. We did not want to come to Chile with a lineup that was anything other than world-class.”
The original Lollapalooza takes place in Chicago.
