Bjork has revealed that she is halfway through recording a new album.
The singer, whose last album 'Volta' was released in 2007, made the announcement in an interview with Icelandic newspaper, Fréttablaðið.
She said she planned to resume work on the album this month, but didn't want to discuss it further until it was completed because she was "very superstitious".
In the interview, translated into English by the singer's Spanish fan site on Facebook, Bjork also said she hoped to go on tour at the end of 2011.
Meanwhile, the Icelandic singer held a three-day karaoke marathon last week in protest against foreign ownership of Iceland's natural resources.
