Bjork has recorded a new song for the forthcoming Moomins 3D movie, Moomins And The Comet Chase.
The track, entitled 'The Comet Song', will be released as a digital download on September 6.
All song profits received by Björk and her record company partners will be donated the UNICEF children's charities in Pakistan to help victims of the recent floods.
The new Moomins movie is the latest incarnation of the troll figures, which were created in the 1940s by the Finnish illustrator and author Tove Jansson.
Meanwhile, Bjork is also currently working on new “highly anticipated projects” due to arrive in 2011.
