Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan is set to play a wannabe seventies wrestler in a new TV sitcom.
The singer is due to film his cameo in Walk Like A Panther in Leeds over the coming weeks.
TV chef Marco Pierre White has also landed a part in the TV series, which will tell the stories of iconic wrestlers including Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy.
"For anyone who sat with their family on a Saturday and watched the old grannies attacking the wrestlers, this series is going to tickle you,” a source told The Sun.
“The cast has been assembled thanks to that nostalgia and the love of gritty northern humour."
Stephen Graham is playing the lead role in Walk Like A Panther. The TV series has yet to secure a broadcaster.
