Liam Gallagher performed songs by former band Oasis at a surprise gig in Manchester on Friday (December 9).
The singer, who now fronts Beady Eye, was apparently in the city to visit family when he treated drinkers at the Town Bar to a short set.
Gallagher’s performance included ‘Wonderwall’ and saw him accompanied by a fellow pub-goer on guitar.
The pub’s owners apparently wanted to shut the venue, but Gallagher asked them to keep it open, reports the News Of The World.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Beady Eye are set to release their debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' in February.
