Kanye West Set To Play Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Kanye West is due to appear at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York later today (November 25).

The rapper will perform tracks from his new album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' at the event, which will also be broadcast live on US TV.

Other participants include the cast of the Broadway Musical American Idiot, which is based on the history of Green Day.

Colombian rocker Juanes, Keri Hilson and Miranda Cosgrove will also appear.

A spokesperson told the Associated Press the parade’s eclectic line-up was intended to capture “people who are in the zeitgeist”.

West released his new studio album earlier this week, and previewed the record at a secret gig in New York on Tuesday (November 23).
