As Kanye West knows, you can't even put a cartoon picture of yourself having sex with a phoenix on your album cover these days.
The rapper has claimed that his artwork for 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' has been banned in the US because of its graphic content.
So to mark the decision, Gigwise has taken a look at some of the dirtiest and sexiest album covers of all time – from Katy Perry's naked cotton candy cloud pose to the Rolling Stones 'Sticky Fingers'.
The feature also includes artwork for albums by Madonna Blink 182 and Queens of the Stone Age.
