Amy Winehouse has claimed that she has been drug free for almost three years.
The singer, who played a surprise gig in London on Monday (October 4), said she now had her eyes on the future.
"I'm much healthier now. I used to use drugs and I haven't used drugs in almost three years. It's not a hard thing,” she told The Sun.
"I literally woke up one day and was like, 'I don't want to do this any more'."
Winehouse added that she thought her career was “over” when she suffered a suspected overdose in 2007.
Meanwhile, the singer played a six song set, which included new material, at the Hawley Arms in Camden earlier this week.
Winehouse is currently recording the follow-up to 2006's 'Back To Black'.
