Coldplay and Jay-Z will perform at a New Year’s Eve gig in Las Vegas, it’s been announced.
Both acts, who are good friends, are set to play the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas casino-resort on December 31.
The concerts are part of a three-day invite-only celebration, but will be broadcast on the hotel's 65-foot marquee overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, reports the Associated Press.
Officials have also promised a special guest performance on the resort’s pool deck.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Coldplay’s Chris Martin joined Jay-Z at his recent New York homecoming shows.
Coldplay are currently recording their fifth studio album.
