The Who's Roger Daltrey has revealed that the band are aiming to return to touring in 2011.
The singer said the band would perform either “a new show”, or a special version of their 1973 rock opera 'Quadrophenia'.
“We've got ideas...We're looking on probably being out there, hopefully if all goes well, in the spring of next year,” Daltrey told Billboard.
“We definitely don't want to stop. We feel it's the role of the artist to go all the way through life 'til you can't do it anymore."
The Who last performed their 1973 album at a special one-off show in London earlier this year.
The group's only other date of 2010 came during half-time at this year's Superbowl.
