Katy Perry is set to try her hand at acting, it has been revealed.
The singer has been confirmed to appear in an upcoming episode of the hit US show How I Met Your Mother.
Perry, will play the role of Honey, a cousin of Zoey's and a potential love interest of Ted in the show.
''Katy is a tremendous talent and we are delighted to be able to work with her,'' executive producer Carter Bays told UsMagazine.
Meanwhile, Katy Perry went head-to-head with The Twilight Saga at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night (January 5).
