Former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable will be laid to rest today at a funeral in his home town of Aberdare, South Wales.
Fans are expected to line the funeral procession route ahead of the service at St Elvan's Church at 12:00 (BST).
Cable was found dead at his home in Llwydcoed on June 7. The results of a post-mortem have been deferred pending the outcome of toxicology tests.
Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf council, Simon Lloyd, told the BBC that Cable was a man who “always held the valleys close to his heart, even when he attained the success he did in his life”.
The drummer was one of the original members of Stereophonics, but was fired from the group in 2003.
He went on to forge a successful media career, holding down radio presenting roles on XFM, Kerrang and BBC South Wales.
