Liam Gallagher has compared his brother Noel's friendship with Russell Brand to the relationship between Neil and Christine Hamilton.
The pair have developed a close bond in recent years after Noel made a series of regular appearances on Brand's former BBC 6 Music radio show.
In an interview with Shortlist, Liam said his brother and Brand, who also co-hosted a one-off show on Talk Sport last year, were a “****ing match”.
“Who do they remind me of? You remember that old politician, the weird little bastard with the wife that were dead tall...Neil Hamilton!" he said.
“That's who they look like.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Liam also used the interview to discuss Oasis' demise last summer – and insisted they would “never” reform.
He also claimed he would “probably end up ****in' leatherin'” his brother if they came face to face.
Liam is currently working on his debut solo album, which he said was due to be released next year.
