Black Grape singer Shaun Ryder has married his girlfriend of six years Joanne.
The 47-year-old invited their family and friends to the St Charles RC Church in Swinton for the christening of their daughter Lulu, however, they sprung a surprise on guests by getting married after the ceremony.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Shaun's manager Warren Askew said: “Congratulations to Shaun and Joanne on their wedding. It was a surprise to everyone after the baptism of Lulu, but was a really lovely day.”
The priest, Father Paul Smith, told the paper: “The baptism was a nice family affair. They headed from here to their wedding at The Court House.”
