Lady Gaga is planning to stage a 3D concert “in the near future”, her record label has confirmed.
A spokesperson for Interscope told MTV the singer was also hoping to release 3D footage as a DVD.
However, it is not clear when the concert will occur, or how fans will be involved in the show.
There has been speculation over Lady Gaga's future touring plans since last December, when she released a deluxe edition of 'The Fame Monster' complete with 3D glasses.
At the time, the singer told fans they would need the glasses "for things happening soon."
Last year, it was revealed that Michael Jackson – an idol of the singer – was planning to incorporate 3D sections into his ill-fated comeback gigs.
Lady Gaga is currently in Australia for the Australian leg of her Monster Ball world tour.
Meanwhile, as Gigwise reported yesterday, the video for her new video, 'Telephone', which features Beyonce, will be unveiled on Thursday.
