Tom Meighan, frontman of Kasabian, has started talking to a replica of ET.
The singer, who purchased the statue last year for £10,000, tells the Sun that he only does it when he’s “really out of my mind”.
“I start talking to ET and I really believe he’s alive,” Meighan revealed.
Members of Kasabian have become known for their outlandish buys since the band’s rise to fame four years ago.
Earlier this year it emerged that guitarist Serge Pizzorno had spent over £5,000 on a signed photo of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
Kasabian will make a special appearance at the Creamfields Festival in Liverpool this summer. To purchase tickets click here.
