Metallica will make a rare in-store appearance in San Francisco on April 19th, it’s been confirmed.
The band’s first in-store for nearly a decade will see them sign autographs and meets fans at .phputin Music's Mountain View store in the Bay area.
As well as promoting the band’s recent vinyl re-releases of ‘Kill 'Em All’ and ‘Ride the Lightning’, the band’s appearance will coincide with Record Store Day.
A number of events, designed to promote independent record stores, are due to take place simultaneously across America.
Participating stores will offer goodie bags to fans, which include albums and background information on music, reports Billboard.
