Klaxons have been forced to cancel two upcoming DJ appearances after bass-player Jamie Reynolds fractured his ankle last weekend (July 21st).

Klaxons were playing a gig in Angouleme, in France when Reynolds injured his ankle jumping from the stage.

As a result, the band had to cancel an appearance at Festival Les Vieilles Charrues on Sunday (July 22nd) because Reynolds had to fly back to the UK for surgery.

The band have issued a statement expressing their disappointment at having to cancel their scheduled appeance at the festival, saying they were"gutted that they are missing the show and will see you all France in November."

As a result of the injury, Reynolds will no longer be DJ’ing at this weekends Global Gathering festival in Stratford-Upon-Avon and London’s Turnmills (both scheduled for July 28th).
