Rod Stewart has surprisingly headed the mid-year Top 100 North American Tours Pollstar chart.
The veteran singer beat off competition from Justin Timberlake in second and The Police in third places by grossing $48.1 million (£24 million) in ticket sales.
However, The Police are expected to top the end of year poll when the rest of the reunion tour is totalled up.
