Rod Stewart had to have ten stitches put in a leg wound after slipping during a gig on Thursday night.
The wrinkly rocker slipped as rain lashed down during his performance at the City of Manchester stadium, but the little trouper managed to go on with the performance.
However, the newly married singer had to be stitched up by doctors when he got off stage.
That meant Rod missed picking up his Icon gong at the Silver Clef music awards yesterday, but he has been passed fit to perform at the Diana Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium tomorrow night.
