Arctic Monkeys have announced a string of European tour dates, set to take place in August 2022. The announcement comes after drummer Matt Helders sparked fresh hopes of a new record from the group.

Whilst taking part in the BBC’s Drumathon, Helders was asked by 5 Live host Rick Edwards if the new album was, “good to go.”

Helders said: “Yeah, pretty much yeah. It was a bit disjointed how we had to do it, and there are bits to finish off, but yeah, it’s all in the works.”

This latest tour is set to see them play: Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia and the Czech Republic. Tickets for the upcoming Monkeys’ tour dates are on sale 9AM BST on Wednesday 24th November.
