More about:

Not long after their 9/10 Lout EP released earlier this year, The Horrors are back with another EP in the form of Against The Blade, arriving 5 November, and a series of special live shows in Bristol, Manchester and London to celebrate the new release.

The title track arrived today and sees The Horrors further explore the musical chaos that served them well on Lout. Complete with hefty guitars and evil laughter, it’s the perfect song to start celebrating the spooky season with. The new EP promises some bold industrial rock with some hints of techno and dance.

Bassist Rhys Webb spoke about Against The Blade:

“‘Against The Blade’ and ‘Twisted Skin’ were both written in Southend-on-Sea over lockdown, it’s the most DIY music we’ve ever made. The first demos were written in my bedroom and work continued in Joe’s studio The Bunker, which is a shipping container that overlooks the estuary. The only element recorded in an actual studio were the vocals, we even recorded guitars in my front room”.
