Here they are: the First Fifty names to be announced for next year's The Great Escape, the festival's belated fifteenth anniversary edition. The list, which always tips the newest of the new and the best of the best from the underground will see the limelight this November at an annual east London launch gig.

Mysie, Malady, Lime Garden, Hussy, Priya Ragu and Enny are among the first names to be announced. They, among many of the others on the list, will play the introductory east London show mid-November...and they'll take to Brighton's stages too.

The Great Escape FIRST FIFTY showcase will take place in Brighton and London on 17-19 November. The Great Escape 2022 takes place in Brighton 12-14 May.
