Chow Chow Frontman Thomas Iain Smith Dies

At the weekend...

Thomas Iain Smith, front man of up and coming band Chow Chow has died.

Smith passed away on Sunday (June 24) following a party, no cause of death has yet been established.

Fans have already begun to pay tribute to him on the bands official website where a book of condolence has been set up.

Chow Chow recently signed to Fantastic Plastic Records and were planning the release of a mini album entitled ‘Colours And Lines’ on July 30.

They recently played the 02 Wireless festival and were set for a summer of touring including an appearance at Tales Of The Jackolope.

It is not known as yet if the band will continue.

Days still go on and the fans, like i, still cant believe your gone. It makes me cry reading the comments wrote about your life. We still send messages to you saying how much we love you. Sadly all this love wont bring you back. Nathan and Stu are starting music again, i guess they feel its not the same without you. Its hard to believe you are gone when I am listening to Chow Chows album, sadly this is all i have heard cause no more is going to happen. Sleep tight Iain and see you soon! xxxxx
