Scotland's TRNSMT Festival have announced their cancellation. The festival made its decision following Nicola Sturgeon's comments yesterday evening about an emergence from lockdown.

In a statement released this morning, the festival - who had confirmed Lewis Capaldi, Liam Gallagher and The Courteeners as headliners - confirmed their cancellation.
"We are absolutely gutted to announce that due to the comments made by the First Minister of Scotland...TRNSMT will be unable to go ahead as planned."
Following the lead of many other cancelled festivals, TRNSMT give the option of rolling over any purchased tickets to 2021.
"We will be back next year to celebrate like never before" they said.
TRNSMT festival will now take place 9-11 July 2021.
