More about:

Back for another year in Wakefield, Long Division has this morning announced its first names for 2020. The Futureheads will headline alongside Beardyman and The Lovely Eggs. The festival celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, and will once again shine a light on the West Yorkshire town.

Sunderland lads The Futureheads will bring their fresh set to the main stage with a celebration of their own: in 2020, it'll be fifteen years since their debut album. Beardyman will joke, beatbox and sing his way through a headline set, while The Fall breakaways Brix & The Extricated will also appear.

Elsewhere, new names and Gigwise faves Low Hummer will impress the crowds, plus more local talent including Ruthie Hands Off Gretel and Big Joanie.

More standouts on the bill include Beans On Toast and Allusinlove.

Long Division has a fond space in Gigwise's heart. Last year, we called it "one of the most anticipated dates on the festival calendar", adding that it "epitomise Wakefield’s revitalised scene."

Long Division takes place from 4-7 June 2020 in venues across Wakefield.
