Next week’s Transgressive Roadshows have been pulled following the break-up of Larrikin Love yesterday.
The record label says they decided the tour was unsustainable with the loss of the headlining band, but promised to reschedule the dates with a new top-billed act – although the Brighton date on 12 May will go ahead as planned.
Transgressive explains, “It is with great regret that we announce not only the demise of Larrikin Love, but due to this fact, the cancellation of the Roadshows.
“It was a difficult decision, but without a headliner we weren't confident of bringing the full Transgressive live experience to you all.
“Despite our best efforts, we could not persuade them to make these special gigs their farewell shows.
"Rest assured, we'll reschedule the dates with new headliners, probably for freshers in September. Full refunds are available from point of purchase."
Band including Battle, Foals, Jeremy Warmsley, Goodbooks and Polytechnic were also due to appear.
