The Lost Riots is a cult classic album, not owned by that many people but a true treasure to all that do. To be honest though it was overdrawn and missing some killer tunes. Luckily it seems Hope Of The States have been studying the book of hit singles and have delivered an absolute corker of a tune in the shape of ‘Sing It Out’. Concise and angry a fire burns inside this track whilst the sound ascends to new levels of intensity. “I am the soldier who fought a war for nothing, I am the damage a dream does”, Yeah they are still political but this time instead of whispering their message HOTS are screaming it until they are red in the face. Could 2006 be the year Hope Of The States finally breakthrough to the mainstream?
