When Gossip said they were going pop on their new album, they really weren't kidding. New single 'Move In The Right Direction' is as far from their breakthrough rock anthem 'Standing In The Way Of Control' as it is possible to get.

The track is taken from the band's new album, 'A Joyful Noise' which was produced by Girls Aloud masterminds Xenomania - and it shows. A shamelessly commercial track, (and all kinds of brilliant), 'Move In The Right Direction' is Gossip's most upbeat single to date. It's rare to hear a band having so much fun on their sixth album - and recently-engaged frontwoman Beth Ditto is clearly loving the band's new direction. The right one, you might say...
