30 October, 2012: Jon Bon Jovi has prepared himself for his band's upcoming 2013 world tour with a visit to one of his future venues - and enjoying local customs on a visit to Dublin's Slane Castle.
The Bon Jovi frontman knocked back whiskey and Guiness with owner of the castle, Lord Henry Mountcharles. Nice company to be keeping!
Bon Jovi embark on a huge world tour in 2013, and the band have made special concessions to make sure cash-strapped fans can attend their live shows. Tickets will be available to world tour shows costing just $20. The band's tour promoter Rob Hallett revealed the plans in an interview with The Daily Mirror.
"I was delighted when they came to me insisting on ticket prices for the Because We Can Tour next year that enabled all to attend," he told the tabloid."If we are to survive as an industry we need to move away from the elitist image of high prices and even higher secondary prices.
"After all, rock and roll always was and always should be the music of the people and that means everyone."
Jon Bon Jovi doesn't seem too troubled by losing money on cheap tour tickets. Check out his boozy meeting with Lord Henry Mountcharles and fans at Slane Castle.
