Hip-hop legend and 'It Takes Two' rapper DJ E-Z Rock has died at the age of 46, it has been confirmed.
The rapper and producer, real name Rodney 'Skip' Bryce, died over the weekend of a currently unknown cause.
Bryce rose to fame due to the iconic 'It Takes Two' - an iconic track that is credited for helping hip-hop crack the mainstream. It was a collaboration with friend Rob Base, who was the one to break the news of his tragic passing in a post on Facebook.
"RIP Skip (DJ EZ Rock) friends since 4th grade, I'm really going to miss you," he said.

'It Takes Two' was based around samples from James Brown and Lyn Collins' 1972 single 'Think (About It),' and peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 upon release in 1988. So influential was the track, that it has since been sampled by the likes of LL Cool J, Will Smith, Girl Talk, 2 Live Crew, Meek Mill, Spank Rock and Benny Blanco, Ciara, Jurassic Five, Pop Will Eat Itself, Coolio, the Black Eyed Peas, Skepta, Girls' Generation, and many, many more.
Bryce's death has been confirmed by representatives, but the cause of his passing is currently unknown.
