Britain's Got Talent is at the centre of a scandal today after it was confirmed that one of the finalists was fast-tracked though the audition by producers on the show.

Band Loveable Rogues have won many fans with their performances on the show so far but, in an interview with The Sun, the three piece band have admitted that they were put through quicker than most after producers spotted their potential via their YouTube videos.

Eddie Brett of the group admitted; “Yes, we did get approached,” with Sonny Jay adding: “The audition in front of the judges was the first we’d done.”

A spokesperson for BGT stated that: “We let people know about auditions in lots of ways. All acts are auditioned on their merits.”

Loveable Rogues will compete in Saturday's live final of Britain's Got Talent against acts such as Pudsey the dancing dog and fellow musician Sam Kelly.
